Susan Fazekas, NP is Board Certified as Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP-BC). She obtained a Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Loyola University in Chicago. She is currently a member of the American Pain Society (APS), Midwest Pain Society (MPS) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Susan Fazekas’s areas of clinical interest include Pain Management and Osteoporosis.
As an Adult Nurse Practitioner, Susan Fazekas’s goal is to offer a holistic approach towards each patient’s management of his or her chronic pain. Realizing everyone’s individual needs, it is not only important to offer interventional and medication therapies but include education and even non-traditional approaches in their treatment plan. She believes it is also important to understand the patients expectations of pain management as they move together toward increasing their function ability and ultimately, improving their quality of life.
