Michael McNett, MD is a board-certified Physician who has dedicated himself to non-interventional treatment of chronic pain. He graduated from Southern Illinois Medical School and did his residency at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, IL. He has a very broad background, including additional training and/or experience working in the fields of pain management, psychology, addiction, clinical research, emergency medicine, family medicine, and for years ran a multidisciplinary treatment program for fibromyalgia.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. McNett enjoys performing research, publishing, and travels extensively around the country teaching. He has written numerous articles and co-authored the book “The Everything Guide to Fibromyalgia.” He is a member of the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Society of Addiction Medicine, and is a national-level thought leader for several pharmaceutical companies.
Dr. McNett’s treatment philosophy is to give each patient the very best care medicine has to offer, while at the same time treating them as an entire person, taking their emotional, personal, and social needs into account.
