Sajjad Murtaza, MD is Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Dr. Murtaza received his medical degree in 1990 from Rush Medical College in Chicago. His internship was completed in 1991 and he went on to fulfill his Anesthesia Residency in 1994, also at Rush Medical College. Dr. Murtaza is a member of several professional associations including the AMA, the American Society of Anesthesiology, and both the American and the Midwest Pain Society.
Dr. Murtaza’s areas of clinical interest include Interventional Spine, Sports/ Musculoskeletal Medicine, Electromyography, Manual Medicine and Workers Compensation.
Dr. Murtaza recognizes that pain is a reason why many people are not functional, which affects their personal, private and vocational life. One of APAC’s goals in patient treatment is not only decreasing pain, but increasing function. Dr. Murtaza values his patients and the work he does, knowing that APAC’s comprehensive approach in treatments and evaluations impacts each individual to help him or her return to an active, healthy life.
