Mohammad Nizam Uddin, MD is Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Subspecialty Board Certified in Pain Medicine. Dr. Uddin completed his Anesthesia Residency and Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Pennsylvania. He went on to complete his Pain Fellowship at the University of Miami. Dr. Uddin is a member of several professional associations including the AMA, North American Spine Society, the International Spine Intervention Society, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Additionally, he is a Diplomat to the American Board of Pain Medicine and a Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice.

Dr. Uddin is co-author of a chapter in a reputable Interventional Spine text book and is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME) for ABIME. Dr. Uddin’s areas of clinical interest include a multi-disciplinary approach to pain management with special interest to Interventional Spine: Discography, Percutaneous Disc Decompression procedures, Atypical Neuropathic Pain, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and Pediatric Pain.

Dr. Uddin’s guiding principle in medical practice is to treat his patients in the same manner that he would want both himself and his family to be treated. His philosophy is to utilize his expertise to provide the most compassionate care to his patients who are already suffering from distressing pain. Dr. Uddin always takes the time to listen to his patients, explain his recommendations and provide the best care possible for them.
